9 Reasons to Visit the Northeast Louisiana Children's Museum

By Tiffany Olmstead, Publisher, Macaroni Kid Monroe - West Monroe January 11, 2018

My children enjoy The Kids Cafe, Discovery Hospital, and everything in between. As a parent, I enjoy the ability to stand, or sit, in one area and have the ability to keep my eyes on and interact with them easily.

9 Reasons to Visit

  • The Reuseum - Create a project using recycled materials
  • The Big Mouth - Replica of a real adult mouth… only REALLY BIG!
  • The Kids’ Cafe - Use imagination and become a chef, server, dishwasher, cashier or a guest!
  • Discovery Hospital - Pretend to be a doctor, nurse or pharmacist
  • Bubbleworks - Make giant bubbles
  • Baby Bayou - Brain building play space just for those under 3 years of age
  • Summer Drop-Off Days - Fun summer camp day with a weekly theme
  • Free and Half-Price Admission days, sponsored by Kohl's
  • Special events such as Santa's Christmas Village, Outdoor Movies, Family Dance Party, and more!

Museum Hours

Tuesday - Friday: 9:00am till 2:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am till 5:00pm

Admission: $6 per person (ages 1+)

Group Rate: $4 per person for groups of 15 or more
