Reserve Your Spot for the Summer Expo

By Tiffany Olmstead, Publisher, Macaroni Kid Monroe - West Monroe March 14, 2019

Registration is now open for our online Summer Guide & our 4th Annual Summer Camp & Kids Activities Expo!

The Summer Camp Guide will be on our sites from March through July and will be promoted continuously with ads, articles, and social media. Every participating camp will be highlighted in their own listing and be included in a printout given to families at the Expo.

The Camp & Activities Expo will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Pecanland Mall from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Representatives from local* day camps, overnight camps, specialty camps, town recreation programs, and entertainment venues can meet with local parents and share information about their programs. The Expo also includes year-round activities such as dance, martial arts, music, art, sports, swimming, tutoring, etc. Share information about your summer specialty programs AND your academic year programs too!

Our 2018 Camp Fair was a great success, with 32 programs and hundreds of families in attendance (scroll down to see photos). Exhibitor comments from our previous Summer Camp Expos:

  • "Met with more families in one day at this event compared to other multi-day events."
  • "Families were very engaged. Incredible attendance.  Very organized."
  • "Not only were we able to register kids for summer camps, but also birthday parties & other events through the year"

If you offer a different service other than summer camp but would like to attend the expo and be featured on your website. (doctor, therapy, after-school program, insurance agent, realtor, birthday venue, etc.). Please email tiffanyo@macaronikid.com for more information.

Expo Booth assignments are based on the date of registration, so the earlier you register the better!

Are you interesting in being a Camp Expo sponsor?  Sponsors are local businesses or organizations that don't run their own camp or activity programs but which provide services, products, and support to local families. Sponsors can have a table at the expo and be included in Expo marketing materials. For more information, email Tiffany at tiffanyo@macaronikid.com.

**Please note there are territorial restrictions on the camps and programs that can exhibit at our fair or appear in our Guides, due to the hyper-local nature of Macaroni Kid. If your day camp or program is located in the Shreveport area, please submit an inquiry before registering.
