Only one week left of school for the kids! I just cannot believe it - where has the time gone? This year has been emotional for me with many "last" events like last lunch at school, last Muffins with Mom, and last field day. My daughter is finishing middle school and my son is finishing elementary school. Thank goodness for friends that "get it" and have reminded me there are many "firsts" to look forward to such as first driving lessons (yikes! - maybe let's not think about that one), first day of high school and middle school, first dates (okay maybe not that one either), and first prom (opening a savings account for that one. All these "firsts" seem to have made me savor the "lasts" even more.

In August, my fridge and pantry are stocked, kids have these incredible lunches, and my meal plans rock! In May, food choices are scarce and my family has become bored with all planned meals.
