To Our Local Twin Cities:
We are so excited to announce the First Annual St. Jude in the Twin Cities Run. As one of the only larger cities in Louisiana without a run directly benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, we feel that itis our time to make a difference! St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is one of the world's premier pediatric cancer research centers with a mission to find cures forchildren with cancer through research and treatment. So many families from our own community have been impacted by childhoodcancer and have benefited tremendously from St. Jude and their commitment that families never see a bill. This can only happen through donations from individuals and businesses like you!! We are determined to build this race from the ground up in order to help St. Jude continue theirincredible work. Here’s how you can help:
Register as a participant: The race date will be October 10, 2020 and will include a 1-mile fun run for the kids and their parents, a 5k, and a 10k. The race will begin and end at First West Baptist Church in WestMonroe. A $30 registration fee includes a race day t-shirt and sign-up fee for each participant.
Become a sponsor: In order to make this race a reality, we are asking for sponsorships from large to small.
Tiered sponsorship levels include:
o Hero - $1,500 +
o Gold - $1,000 - $1,499
o Silver - $500 - $999
o Bronze - $150 - $499
As a Hero Sponsor, your business name will be announced in all news segments and publications andwill also be featured in large print on the back of the race t-shirt. For Bronze, Silver, and Gold sponsors, we will also print your business names under our Hero sponsors on the race t-shirt. We are also planning for a banner with all sponsors listed for the race day. We would love to have you and your business there on race day as well! We will have room for booths for your business, and we will have volunteer opportunities to allow for anyone interested to be a complete part of the race day. As a sponsor, you are joining with us in our desire to give the local children and families the recognition and support they deserve. We want to make an impact on childhood cancer research, and we want to start right here in Northeast Louisiana.
