Let the Kids Lunch

By Krystal Farnell-Publisher, Monroe-West Monroe Macaroni Kid September 8, 2020

As a busy Mom of 3, my kids have learned how to pitch in and help out when necessary. So I was thrilled to find these simple solutions to make our lunchtime go a little smoother. Walmart Pickup makes grocery shopping one less thing I have to stress over since my children are back in school.

Kraft Heinz has many solutions for the back-to-school rush that many parents experience. Kids will feel more independent when they are helping plan their lunches. I love when my kids can help out while my hands may be tied up helping the toddler. I personally enjoy happy morning memories before I take them to school. It’s a win-win for everyone. And I’m teaching them how to take control of their day by getting them involved.

These Ore-Ida french fries can go from freezer to plate in 5 minutes. What kid doesn’t love french fries for lunch?! Pair it with an individual Velveeta Shells and Cheese cup that is quickly heated up in the microwave and ready in 3.5 minutes. After it’s heated through, they can place the warm macaroni into a Thermos to enjoy a few hours later. My children always choose a Capri Sun for their lunchbox because they think it tastes better than the milk offered in the school cafeteria.

These easy-to-access, kid-friendly lunch solutions for elementary-age children can be found at your nearest Walmart. Empower your children today and turn mornings into fun and teachable moments.
