Jeremy McNabb is a native of Ruston, Louisiana, but he moved out to West Texas several years ago to work in the oilfield. Since he’s been in Laredo, he’s created his own business: Bent Creek Knives & Apparel. All his knives are hand-forged and many feature Damascus steel. He makes all styles of knives including some beautiful chef and grill sets, brisket slicers, lock backs, and other varieties. The handles are made from numerous materials including horn, bone, wood, and micarta to name a few. The Ouachita Regional Veterans Association is working to build a tiny house village near Arcadia. It’s called Project 4 Hope. A really cool project, they have conducted several fundraisers and sold different items to chip away at the cost to get this village set up. ORVA has generously donated a Pelican Stare Clothing t-shirt from there one of their fundraisers and several other items totaling $50 in value.
