We have an exciting announcement to make! Cathy Airhart Webb, the owner and founder of CA Studio, extended a special invitation for us to attend a sneak peek dress rehearsal of the upcoming production, The Phantom Tollbooth, at the Strauss Youth Academy of the Arts.
As we entered the building, our attention was immediately drawn to the mesmerizing gold stars lining the walls. Each star bore the name of a young person who had been part of the troupe since as far back as 1994. Mrs. Webb proudly pointed out some of these stars and shared incredible stories of the accomplishments these individuals have achieved. Some have remained in the entertainment business, while others have pursued careers in medicine. It was heartwarming to learn that some of them now have children who are also participating in the youth productions. Talk about keeping the passion alive!
Watching the children and young adults perform was an absolute joy. We couldn't help but be captivated by their talent and dedication. And let me let you in on a little inside joke - we definitely weren't experiencing any doldrums during the performance! The kids took directions flawlessly and truly shone on stage.
