Find your family fun! Get ready for a sweet adventure with our “Finish the Phrase” Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt! Hosted by Macaroni KID Monroe–West Monroe in partnership with Downtown West Monroe. This event features four oversized candy canes that are hidden; each candy cane has a special word that your family needs to complete the holiday phrase. And here’s the extra sprinkle of magic: when your family completes locating all the words and submits the final phrase, you’ll be entered to win a prize! As you play, remember—safety first! Keep an eye out for traffic while you explore.
This scavenger hunt will take place from 12/4/25-12/22/25 and is the perfect add-on to all the festive fun coming up: parades, the lighted bicycle parade, outdoor movies, or simply soaking up the beautiful holiday lights—and of course, a little shopping along the way. Let the hunt begin!

Directions for the Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt: “Finish the Phrase”
We’ll share clues to guide your search, and the rest is up to your family’s detective skills (and maybe a little Christmas magic). While you’re hunting, you’ll be in proximity to some wonderful local shops and restaurants—and if you time it just right, you can wander through the sparkling Land of Lights on Cotton Street.

Everyone who completes the phrase will be entered into a drawing to win (4) Monroe Moccasin Hockey Tickets, Children’s Building Toys, or My First Telescope. Winners will be drawn on December 23, 2025 at 8:00 am.
