2023 Holiday Guide: A Full List of Holiday Activities
So much excitement is happening at Kiroli Park! The City of West Monroe and Kiroli Foundation have announced Christmas at Kiroli Park activities this holiday season and Macaroni KID Monroe-West Monroe is bringing back The Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt at Kiroli.
November 27th, 2023
Christmas Concert will kick-off at 5:00 pm with FREE park admission beginning at 4 p.m. The event will include live entertainment on the Kiroli Park Bandstand featuring Lee Denton at 5 p.m. and the ULM Brass Band at 6 p.m. Christmas lights at Kiroli Park will be turned on at 5:30 p.m. on the Kiroli Park Bandstand, and attendees will be able to walk through the lighted Christmas displays.
November 24th - December 25th, 2023
The drive-thru Christmas Lights at Kiroli will open to the public on Friday, Nov. 24 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The lights display will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Beginning on Thursday, Dec. 14, Christmas at Kiroli will be open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays until December 25.
The cost to drive through the park is $10 per vehicle or $20 for a commercial vehicle. Season passes can be purchased for $30. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.christmasatkiroli.com
December 10th, 2023
Christmas at Kiroli will also host Santa in the Park on Sunday, Dec. 10 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Kiroli Park, sponsored by Louisiana Pain Care. The event will feature visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, live entertainment, arts and crafts activities, fun events for children, and food trucks. Regular Park admission will apply. In the event of inclement weather, Santa in the Park will move to Sunday, Dec. 17. This is a very important fundraiser for the Kiroli Foundation, pictures with Santa are $5.00 per person.

December 1st - December 10th, 2023 (2:00 pm)
Calling all families! Get ready for an exciting and delightful adventure at Kiroli Park this holiday season. Join us for the Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt, where you'll have the chance to explore the park and discover what makes Kiroli Park so special.
Event Details:
The Candy Cane Scavenger Hunt will take place from 12/01/23 - 12/10/23 (2:00 PM). Throughout Kiroli Park, we have carefully hidden (10) 2-ft tall candy canes, just waiting to be found! This hunt will be suitable for all ages and abilities.
To join in the fun, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit Kiroli Park between December 1st and December 10th, 2023 (Park fees will apply).
Step 2: Click on the link to the digital form (The link will be released in the next e-newsletter on November 30th, 2023).
Step 3: The clues we provide will guide you in the right direction, let the fun begin!
Step 4: Once you find a candy cane, you'll see a top-secret code word revealed.
Step 5: Keep track of all ten code words in the digital form provided. If you need to take a break you can save the form and go back to it to complete. All entries must be submitted by 12/10/23 at 2:00 PM.
Step 6: If you have more than one child or young adult participating, please complete the portion of the digital form that asks you to provide the number and names of those participating. If you like you can have each child complete their own digital form. If you are writing the information down to email to us, please include this information when submitting your code words.
Step 7: Come to Santa in the Park at Kiroli and find the Macaroni KID Monroe-West Monroe prize table. Everyone who submitted all 10 code words will receive a prize from Macaroni KID Monroe-West Monroe and (BONUS) when you stop by our table on 12/10/23 to get your prize it will also make you eligible for a drawing for bigger prizes!
No Technology, No Problem: If you don't have access to a smartphone or other technology you can get the clues from the admission gate, write code words down on a sheet of paper, and then email the code words to mackidmonroela@macaronikid.com. Make sure you include the names and number of people participating in your family. Please return the sheet with all the clues to the admission gate so other people can have fun too!

But that's not all! On December 10th, 1 pm - 4 pm, head back to Kiroli Park for our Santa in the Park event. It's a day filled with joy and excitement for the whole family! Here's what you can look forward to:
1. Live Entertainment: Enjoy performances and music that will fill the park with holiday cheer.
2. Food Trucks: Treat yourself to delicious bites from a variety of food trucks.
3. Meet Santa: Get your wish list ready and have a magical encounter with Santa Claus himself. Pictures with Santa are $5.00 per person. This is a very important fundraiser for the Kiroli Foundation.
4. Special Prizes: Macaroni KID will be present to hand out exclusively to those who completed the scavenger hunt. You will have from 12/1/23 - 12/10/23 (2:00 PM) to complete the hunt! Don't miss out!
