DIY “Head in a Jar” (No Water, No Mess)

Supplies:

  • Large clear jar (pickle jars work perfectly)
  • Printed photo of your child’s face (or willing volunteer)

Steps:

  1. Take a Fun Photo: Have your child squish their face onto a clear glass surface (window, glass table, etc.). This makes the expression pop when it’s in the jar.
  2. Prepare the Photo: Print the photo at a size that fits nicely inside your jar. Cut to shape if desired.
  3. Insert the Head: Slide the photo inside the jar so it faces outward. You can curve it slightly to give it a three-dimensional appearance.
  4. Seal and Display: Screw on the lid and place your spooky “head” wherever it will get noticed—doorstep, shelf, or Halloween table centerpiece.

That’s it! Minimal supplies, minimal cleanup, maximum creep factor.
