A sweet Valentine’s activity for kids (and grown-ups, too!)
Valentine’s season is the perfect time to help our kids slow down, look around, and fall in love with the place we call home. This year, Discover Monroe-West Monroe is bringing families a heartfelt (and fun!) community activity—Love Letters to MWM.
We’re inviting kids (with a little help from parents, if needed!) to write a short “love letter” sharing what they love most about Monroe–West Monroe. Maybe it’s the smell of fresh donuts from a favorite bakery, an afternoon at the park, paddling down the bayou, Friday night lights, or the way our community shows up for one another during the holidays. Big feelings and small moments are all welcome. 💛
This activity is a wonderful way to encourage creativity, writing, and reflection—while celebrating the local places, people, and memories that make MWM feel like home.
And yes… there’s a Valentine’s surprise!
Thanks to Discover Monroe-West Monroe, we’ll select 5 love letters to win a Valentine’s surprise package filled with goodies from local favorites. 😍
