The 10th Annual Dragon Boat Festival is paddling its way back to Bayou Desiard on April 18, 2026, and the Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana is kicking off the excitement with a fun activity for kids — and a chance to win an awesome prize!

Families are invited to take part in the Dragon Coloring Contest, where one lucky winner will receive a Dragon LEGO Set. It’s simple, creative, and a great way for kids to get involved in the festival spirit.

How to Enter

  1. Download the Dragon Color Sheet from the Children’s Coalition website.
  2. Let your child color their dragon masterpiece however they like — bright, bold, glittery, or even rainbow-scaled!
  3. Upload a photo of the finished coloring sheet to the Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana Facebook page in the comments of the pinned contest post.

That’s it! Once your child’s artwork is posted, they’re entered.

A random winner will be selected on April 5, 2026, so be sure to get those dragons colored and posted before the deadline.
