By Missy Robertson, Publisher, Macaroni KID Monroe-West Monroe April 15, 2026

Macaroni KID Monroe–West Monroe is always on the hunt for affordable fun… and this time, we found something that truly roars.

Just a short drive away, Wild Wash, LLC (709 Sterlington Hwy, Farmerville, LA 71241) delivers more than a clean car—it delivers an experience your kids will be talking about long after the ride home.

Yes, your car will come out spotless thanks to automatic and self-serve bays and powerful vacuums—but what makes this stop unforgettable is everything in between.

Dinosaurs.

The moment you pull in, the mood shifts. What could’ve been just another errand becomes a shared family moment—full of laughter, imagination, and just enough “wow” to make it feel like you discovered something so cool.

And honestly… why stop there?

It might be time to turn it into a full-on dino day. Pick up some dino-nuggets, pile up a mashed potato mountain, add a few broccoli trees, and don’t forget the gravy. Lean all the way in—because moments like this are the ones kids remember.

If your crew is still in dinosaur mode (and they will be), keep the adventure going with a visit to the ULM Museum of Natural History—a perfect way to add a little real-world discovery to your prehistoric play.

🟢 A Short Story to Share: The Day the Dinosaurs Washed the Car

Lily and her little brother Max were not excited.

“Do we have to wash the car?” Max groaned.

“It’s so boring,” Lily agreed, watching the road roll by.

But when their mom turned into the car wash, everything changed.

Max leaned forward. “Wait… is that a dinosaur?”

Lily pressed her hands to the window. “It is! There’s a whole bunch of them!”

The car rolled closer, and suddenly, it didn’t feel like a car wash anymore. It felt like they had driven straight into a land where dinosaurs had jobs—and today, their job was cleaning cars.

“Hold on,” Mom said with a grin. “I think they’re about to get to work.”

The machine rumbled to life.

“ROOOOAAAR!” Max shouted. “That’s the T-Rex telling everyone we’re here!”

Bright, colorful soap covered the windows.

“Dino slime!” Lily laughed.

The giant brushes spun and swished.

“They’re using their tails!” Max said. “They’re cleaning every spot!”

Water rushed down in big waves.

“A dinosaur rainstorm!” Lily added.

Inside the car, the three of them laughed as the world outside turned into a blur of bubbles, colors, and imagination. For a few minutes, there were no errands, no schedules—just a simple, unexpected moment of fun.

Then, just like that, the doors opened.

Sunlight poured in. The car sparkled.

Max leaned back with a satisfied sigh. “Best. Car wash. Ever.”

Lily nodded. “Next time… can we come back when the dinosaurs are working again?”

Mom smiled as she pulled forward. “I have a feeling they’ll be here.”

Sometimes the best family moments aren’t the big, expensive outings—they’re the small, surprising stops along the way. And this one? It’s worth the drive.
