July 4th, 2026: Triangle Park 4th of July Children's Parade
Details: Monroe Rotary is thrilled to announce its annual 4th of July Children’s Parade. This year's festivities promise to be bigger and better than ever, with a host of activities designed for children and families.

The parade will kick off at 9:30 AM on July 4 at Triangle Park. Spectators can look forward to a morning filled with patriotic pride as children from local schools and community groups showcase their creativity by decorating bikes, wagons, and scooters in a delightful display of red, white, and blue.


July 4th, 2026: Red, White, and Blue at the Zoo!
Celebrate Independence Day with a wild twist at Louisiana Purchase Gardens & Zoo!
Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for a fun-filled day of patriotic family entertainment. Enjoy carnival games, exciting prizes, delicious food trucks, local vendors, and a pizza eating contest, sponsored by Johnny’s Pizza House, all while exploring the zoo and visiting your favorite animals.
A special thank you to the Louisiana Purchase Zoological Society and Bayou Bowl for helping make this exciting community celebration possible!


July 4th, 2026: The Great American Pop Up! - Parish Pop and Play is Popping Up at The Hawthorne!
We're partnering with the Good Daze Block Party to create a cool, family-friendly place for parents and kids to escape the July heat while enjoying food, drinks, activities, and patriotic fun before the evening fireworks begin. Perfect for families with young kids who still want to take part in the festivities, but can't deal with heat and late nights. Admission $5.00 per Child, $2.00 per Adult


July 4th, 2026: 3rd Annual “The Good Daze Block Party"
Join us for the 3rd Annual “The Good Daze Block Party” on Saturday, July 4th, from 20-3 pm on Art Alley in Downtown Monroe in front of The Good Daze. Art Alley will host a market featuring vendors, including artists, makers, musicians, and food trucks. Along with the market, The Good Daze will be open as well to shop from, as well as others on our “block!”
Admission is free to the public. Make plans to attend and support local events, and make sure to watch the fireworks on the Ouachita River later that evening!


July 4th, 2026: July 4th Celebration in Downtown West Monroe
Celebrate the 4th of July and independence in the Twin Cities! Enjoy shopping, great food, and festivities all day. Enjoy live music, a kid zone, a hot dog eating contest, and more fun all day long! The fireworks are shot from the Endom Bridge over the Ouachita River and are best viewed from Downtown West Monroe, Downtown Monroe, or the West Monroe levee.
