9 to 5: All Things Dolly Trivia Night is Coming to Monroe!

It’s hard to imagine a world without Dolly Parton in it. She was an extraordinary woman whose music made us smile, whose humor made us love her even more, and whose enormous heart changed the lives of millions of children. Her passing feels like the loss of someone who somehow belonged to all of us. 💗

Here at home, the Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana will celebrate her legacy with an All Things Dolly Trivia Night at Flying Tiger! Expect lots of Dolly, lots of laughs, and information about signing little ones up for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to receive FREE books!

The fun will take place in the outside patio area, so round up your favorite people and bring a lawn chair!

💖 Optional Fun: Dress Dolly-Inspired!

Rhinestones? Absolutely. Fringe? Even better. Big hair? Now we’re talking.

Guests are invited to come Dolly-inspired, although dressing up is completely optional. If you decide to channel your inner Dolly, there will be a prize for Best Dolly-Inspired Dress!

🎤 How Well Do You Know Dolly?

Trivia begins at 6:30 PM, with prizes given during the game. Gather your team and brush up on your Dolly knowledge—from her music and movies to fun facts about one of the most beloved entertainers of all time.

You don’t have to be a Dolly superfan to join us. But knowing that working 9 to 5 is no way to make a living probably won't hurt. 😉

📚 Dolly, Books & Children’s Coalition

There’s an important reason behind all this fun.

Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana is helping bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to children in Ouachita Parish, connecting local little learners with books that can help build a love of reading from the very beginning.

During the evening, Children’s Coalition will be on hand to share more about the Imagination Library, its impact in Ouachita Parish, and the many ways the organization works to strengthen children, families and early childhood opportunities throughout Northeast Louisiana.

Guests will also be able to learn about the Louisiana Workforce Child Care Tax Credit and how local businesses can use this powerful resource to invest in early childhood programs and help strengthen our community.

And your dinner can help, too!

A percentage of food and beverage proceeds sold from 5:00 PM–8:00 PM will be donated to Children’s Coalition for Northeast Louisiana.

That means you can grab dinner at Flying Tiger, enjoy an evening with friends and help support the work Children’s Coalition is doing for children and families across our community.
