Nestled in the scenic Forsythe Park and just a stone's throw away from the cherished Biedenharn Gardens and Museum, the Forsythe Tennis Center is currently undergoing an extensive renovation. This upgrade includes the addition of several new tennis courts, aiming to accommodate larger regional and state competitions. This development promises to enhance the center's facilities significantly, making it a premier destination for tennis enthusiasts and competitors alike.
USPTA Mark Taylor has over 15 years of experience as Director of Tennis for the City of Monroe. Growing up with the game of tennis since the age of 14, Mark has taught tennis at many levels. He ran the junior development program at Burns Park Development Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, was the Pro at Pine Hills Country Club for several years, worked at Chauvin Racquet Club (MAC) for several years, and is currently one of the very few U.S. Professional Tennis Association Pros in the Northeast Louisiana Area.
